Freecall 1800 outback
has built one of the most enviable reputations in the Australian travel industry. As pioneers
of luxury small group touring to the outback, our inspiration comes from both the early European explorers and
traditional owners of this vast country. Today, we’re one of Australia’s largest outback tour operators and the recipient
of several tourism awards for excellence.
The most valuable commodity
There’s one element of our business that really sets us apart, and that’s trust. Trust in the fact that we deliver exactly what
we say we will, and in most cases, more. Trust in the fact that if unforseen events unfold, like bad weather or road closures,
we don’t just sit back and point to our terms and conditions. We actively ensure that you still do and see everything
possible, often at significant company expense. This overwhelming ‘character trait’ of our brand is reflected in the fact
that over half of our business comes directly from repeat travellers. To us, there’s no greater accolade than that.
More itineraries, more destinations
With 27 different outback expeditions, chances are we’ll have one which suits you. Outback Spirit operates the most
diverse collection of expeditions in Australia, and with the addition of the Canning Stock Route and Kimberley Coast
for 2014 there’s simply no region of this spectacular country that we do not venture to.
Since 2007 Outback Spirit has been a major donor to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, greatly assisting them
in the conservation of all Australian animal species and their habitats. We also provide employment opportunities,
education resources and training to Indigenous people living in remote communities, which in recent years has
included the provision of teachers and a $190,000 donation for solar power at the remote Kandiwal Community
on the Mitchell Plateau.
If you’d like any further information, please remember that our friendly and knowledgeable staff are just a phone
call away – 1800 OUTBACK.
We hope you’ll join us for an unforgettable expedition into the outback in 2014.
