In the spirit of our early explorers we venture into distant and remote regions of our great land. With our purpose-built Mercedes Benz All Terrain vehicles we access the otherwise inaccessible and take you to places that most people will never get to. We’ll show you wonders, and immerse you in the unspoilt, natural beauty of our country.
Unlike the early explorers however, we don’t endure any of the hardships; far from it. Wherever you stay as our guests, we have hand-picked the best available hotels, resorts and lodges in each area. And the personal relationship we build with owners and operators ensures that the service you receive is second to none. In some wilderness areas where no such accommodation existed we have built our own. Like the Kimberley, where you will be exclusive guests at Nguawudu Safari Camp, our 5-star wilderness resort, on the Mitchell Plateau. Or in Cape York where Outback Spirit guests have exclusive use of Morten Telegraph Station on the picturesque Wenlock River.
We’re equally passionate about your comfort and safety on the road. So, when we went about researching a vehicle that could overcome the challenges of the Outback, we selected the world-leading automotive engineering of Mercedes-Benz to provide the power plant for our vehicles. Our fleet of All Terrain Mercedes-Benz coaches has been custom-built to our own exacting specifications to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability as well as exceptional passenger comfort and superb visibility.
And because our coaches are smaller than those of many operators, we can take you to some of the remote wilderness areas that others can't.
Each Outback expedition is limited to 20 to 26 people so your tour will be extremely comfortable, very personal and have a minimum impact on the environment. Our Tour Drivers, Tour Directors and local guides are hand picked for their experience, friendliness and genuine love of the outback. They’ll make every minute of the expedition as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Not only do they have a deep and detailed knowledge of the regions we explore, they also bring the whole adventure to life through their sheer enthusiasm and passion for the Australian wilderness.
Part of our team is the legendary ‘Bush Tucker Man’ Les Hiddins – together we look forward to sharing with you some of the world’s most dramatic and beautiful places where you’ll discover remarkable landscapes, rich flora and fauna, and a fascinating cultural heritage that will create special memories to last forever.
