Small groups - the best way to experience a big country

Experience has taught us that travelling in small groups is a far more rewarding and personal experience. This is especially the case in the Australian outback where there's so much to see and absorb. You certainly don't want your experience to be "crowded". We give you the time and space to really immerse yourself.

By taking only small groups of 20 to 26 people in our purposebuilt Mercedes Benz vehicles, we can explore places that would otherwise be inaccessible. That gives you more opportunity to discover the remote parts of our great country and a better understanding of what people call the "spirit of the outback".

There's no question that small groups are far more desirable than the large touring coaches of 50 people or more. Larger groups simply can't get to many of the key attractions we visit. And they aren't able to stay at the many small, unique wilderness lodges that make Outback Spirit Tours so memorable.

Small groups also allow people to get to know one another, including the crew, and that adds enormous enjoyment to the tour. In fact it often means meeting other like-minded people and establishing friendships that last long after the tour has ended.
