Depart your home ports this morning en route to Broome. Upon your arrival at Broome Airport you will be met by our friendly and professional tour crew and taken to the Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa to check-in for our 2 night stay. This evening enjoy dinner at the Sunset Bar and watch as the sun sinks into the Indian Ocean.
This morning enjoy breakfast at the resort before heading off on a town tour of Broome. Visit the Japanese Cemetery, Gantheaume Point and Chinatown. We also visit the Pearl Luggers Museum to gain an insight into the pearling history of Broome. After lunch the afternoon is free for you to spend at your leisure. Enjoy a walk along the beach, or perhaps use some of the first class facilities at the resort.
This morning we depart Broome and make our way towards Fitzroy Crossing. We arrive in time for lunch before heading out to Geikie Gorge on the Fitzroy River. Over the years the river has carved through an ancient limestone barrier reef, exposing age old fossils on the walls of the gorge. Here we enjoy a 1 hour cruise with an experienced guide. We return to Fitzroy Crossing later in the afternoon for our overnight camp.
Today we discover two of the most stunning attractions in the Kimberley, Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek. We depart Fitzroy Crossing and head along the Windjana Way to Tunnel Creek, our first stop for the morning. Enjoy a walk through a 750m underground river that has cut its way under the Napier Range. There is also tremendous history here that your guides will share with you on your walk. After a picnic lunch we depart Tunnel Creek and continue on to Windjana Gorge, arriving mid-afternoon to set up our overnight camp. Enjoy a guided walk through the gorge with your guides before the sun sets.
After waking up in such a beautiful location you may wish to go for another look through the gorge, which takes on a whole new look in the early hours of the day. After breakfast we pack up camp and head for the Gibb River Road, the infamous stock route that takes us through the heart of the Kimberley. Upon joining up with the Gibb we travel through the King Leopold Ranges. Visit beautiful Bell Gorge and Galvan's Gorge for a swim before continuing on to Mt. Barnett. From here we head in to Manning Gorge for our overnight camp.
This morning we make an early start on the road after packing up our camp. We continue heading east along the Gibb River Road to meet up with the Kalumburu Road. We then travel up the Kalumburu Road past Drysdale River Station and Doongan Station to the Mitchell Plateau turnoff. From here we cross the King Edward River and begin to ascend the plateau. Travel through vast stands of Livistona Palms before arriving at the Mitchell Falls Campground. We set up camp for our 2 night stay on the Mitchell Plateau.
Today is definitely one of the highlights of the tour. Today we embark on a 4km moderate walk and mostly downhill. Along the way there are numerous rock art galleries featuring ancient Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw) and Wandjina rock art. We explore these galleries with an indigenous guide from the local Kandiwal community (if available). We also pass by some beautiful waterholes so there are several chances for a swim along the way! At the end of the walk we arrive at the 3 tiered Mitchell Falls - one of the most stunning attractions in the Kimberley. Admire these thunderous falls from several vantage points before boarding helicopters for our scenic flight transfer back to the ranger station (included in fare). Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the campsite before spending our second night on the Mitchell Plateau.
After packing up camp we bid farewell to the stunning Mitchell Plateau. Heading back down off the plateau we stop off at a sensational rock art site near the King Edward River. Enjoy a walk to the art site and perhaps have a swim in the King Edward River. After a picnic lunch we continue heading south and arrive at Drysdale for our overnight camp. Enjoy a drink at the station bar before returning to our campsite for dinner.
This morning we depart Drysdale and join up to the Gibb River Road again. From here we travel east and cross the Durack River before arriving at the Pentecost River at the foot of the Cockburn Range. This stunning landscape is one of the most photographed in the Kimberley. Take a photo before crossing the river and continuing on to El Questro. We spend the next 2 nights at Emma Gorge Resort.
El Questro is home to beautiful gorges and swimming holes. Today we'll start with a cruise on Chamberlain Gorge, followed by a visit to Zebedee Thermal Springs. We return to Emma Gorge for lunch in the restaurant. The afternoon is free for you to spend at your leisure. You may wish to relax by the pool or take the walk up to the Emma Gorge waterfall (good level of fitness required).
This morning we depart El Questro and bid farewell to the Gibb River Road. Visit Wyndham and Five Rivers lookout before heading on to Kununurra. Continue on to Lake Argyle where we board our exhilarating cruise down the Ord River. We arrive back at Lake Kununurra at sunset where we will be transferred to the Kununurra Country Club for our overnight stay.
Today enjoy a town tour of Kununurra including the surrounding Ord River Irrigation Scheme. Afterwards enjoy some free time in the town centre before heading off to the Bungle Bungles. Travel down the Great Northern Highway to Mabel Downs before entering into Purnululu National Park. We spend the next 2 nights camping at the Walardi campsite.
This morning you have the option to take a scenic helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungles. Flights must be pre-booked with our office. Prices start at approximately $200 per person for an 18 minute flight.
Today we explore Cathedral Gorge. The walk into the gorge is approximately 2 hours return (medium level of fitness required). A dry creek bed takes us from the domes up to the gorge, renowned as being one of the most spectacular in the Kimberley. We then return to our campsite for lunch before heading off to Echidna Chasm in the northern end of the park. We arrive back at our campsite late in the afternoon for our second and final night in the Bungle Bungles.
This morning we depart the Bungle Bungles and head back to the Great Northern Highway journeying south to Halls Creek. We check-in to the Kimberley Hotel for our overnight stay.

This morning we pack up our camp for the last time and head into Alice Springs. We arrive late morning and check-in to the Chifley Hotel. The remainder of the afternoon can be spent at your leisure. This evening we have our final dinner together at the hotel and reflect on our unforgettable journey.
