A unique blend of the best accommodation
On every Outback Spirit adventure you'll experience a range of different accommodation types that capture the very essence of each location. Hand-picked for their unique attributes, the properties we use are generally the very best available in each location and are perfectly situated to maximise your enjoyment.
Luxurious hotels and resorts
Enjoy bedding down in the lap of luxury at outstanding hotels and resorts that offer a truly memorable experience. Most of our itineraries include this style of accommodation at some point along the way, depending on what neck of the woods you're in! A few examples include the Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa in Broome, Sails in the Desert, Uluru and the lovely Shangri La Hotel, Cairns.
Exceptional wilderness camps and lodges
Nearly every Outback Spirit tour features overnight stays in outstanding wilderness camps or lodges. Often the highlight of the trip, these venues are situated in strategic locations that all boast something unique or special. We even have our own luxurious property, Nguawudu Safari Camp, on the Mitchell Plateau in the north Kimberley, but other examples include Mornington Wilderness Camp, Lotus Bird Lodge in Cape York and the world renowned Cradle Mountain Lodge, Tasmania.
QUality motels in the centre of town
While some nights of your itinerary are in remote, isolated locations there are also nights spent in regional centres, like Kununurra, Cooktown and Albury to name just a few. In these locations we use the very best accomodation on offer, which is generally a good quality motel in the centre of town. Ranging from 3.5 - 4.5 stars these venues offer comfort and convenience after a day spent traversing the outback.
Station stays and outback hotels
Known for their tremendous atmosphere and authentic feel, the outback cattle stations and hotels that we ulitise on selected itineraries add real depth to your touring experience. Enjoy meeting some of the locals at the bar and experience wonderful hospitality in these remote outposts, such as the Royal Exchange Hotel in Broken Hill.
