Floodwaters to last until October!

After reaching Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre in March, faraway floodwaters from western and central Queensland are still pouring into the Lake via the Warburton Groove. At its deepest point, Lake Eyre North is now nudging 2 metres, and still rising! The 2019 spectacle is truly astonishing and is now due to last until October. Limited seats remain, so don’t miss out!

Supporting victims of QLD flooding

Flooding rains in outback QLD are mostly met with cheers and sighs of relief. However, the 2019 floods in Queensland have been a disaster for many people. Outback Spirit would like to draw attention to the plight of farmers in north Queensland who, after nursing their cattle through an 8-year drought, have suffered devastating stock losses due to the floods. To do our bit, Outback Spirit is making a significant donation to Aussie Helpers, a charity dedicated to helping Australian farmers doing it tough. Co-founded by Brian and Nerida Egan some 17 years ago, Aussie Helpers relies on volunteers, fundraising and donations to provide farmers with assistance in times of adversity.
