The Pilbara region of Western Australia is home to stunning natural landscapes. Around 6 times the size of Tasmania, the region stretches for 400,000 square kilometers. Deep in its heart you’ll marvel at the rugged red gorges of Karijini National Park and the oasis of Millstream-Chichester National Park. It’s also a region known for its vast natural resources and is a powerhouse to our economy.
Further south is an array of natural wonders including Ningaloo Reef, home to one of the largest fringing reefs in the world. There’s also World Heritage Listed Shark Bay, and the world’s largest collection of wildflowers that explode into life each spring. It’s these magnificent sights, and so many more, that bring people to the clear blue shores and breathtaking landscapes of the West.
