Camp Overview

Outback Spirit’s Moreton Wilderness Lodge is located at the historic Moreton Telegraph Repeater Station and is one of the only accommodation options between Weipa and Bamaga.

Situated on the banks of the Wenlock River in a shady eucalypt forest, the lodge features an alfresco restaurant and 12 ensuite motel-style rooms complete with air-conditioning and quality furniture and bedding. The campfire crackles each evening, whilst the mornings are dominated by beautiful birdsong. It’s a great place to bed down for a few nights and absorb the wilderness of the Cape.
